About Paw Backgammon

Paw Backgammon is a free, cute take on the classic race-and-hit board game for two. You play the Pups against the computer, or pass and play with a friend on the same screen. Roll the dice, move your paw-print checkers around the wooden board, hit lonely checkers, and bear all 15 off before your opponent does. All the real rules are here: doubles, entering from the bar, forced moves, bearing off, gammons and backgammons.

How to play Paw Backgammon

Tap the dice to roll. Tap one of your glowing checkers, then tap a green spot to move it. Use each die you can. Landing on a lone enemy checker hits it and sends it to the bar. Once all 15 of your checkers are in your home board, you can bear them off. Made a mistake? Press Undo before your turn ends. Stuck? Press Hint. The doubling cube is optional and starts switched off.

Tips: make pairs of checkers to build safe points, keep your lone checkers out of reach of the enemy, and try to build a wall of 4 or 5 points in a row.
