About Pup Four in a Row

Pup Four in a Row is the classic drop-and-line-up strategy game from Pet Love Arcade. Take turns with a teal pup dropping tokens into a seven-column board. Get four of your pink paw tokens in a row, across, up and down, or on a slant, before the pup does. The first opponent is sleepy and makes lots of mistakes, then each one thinks further ahead, up to a master pup that almost never slips.

How to play Pup Four in a Row

Tap or click a column to drop your token to the lowest open space. Make a line of four to win the round and move on to a smarter opponent. If the pup makes four first you lose one of 3 hearts and play that opponent again. A full board is a draw and you simply replay. Beat all 5 opponents to win.

Tips: the middle column is the strongest place to start because it is part of the most possible lines. Before every move, check whether the pup is one token away from four and block it. Try to set up two threats at once so the pup can only stop one, and be careful not to fill the space right under a square the pup needs.
